Wow ! Fantastic LP released as an advertising for the French spice firm Ducros. The tracks featured here were all previously released on the mythic labels Montparnasse 2000 and St Germain des Prés… Tunes are afro groovy pop, latin, jazzy or psychedelic. Tracks are “Danse Bakaloo” and “La trace des éléphants” (Gérard Lévecque), “Le seneque” (A. & L. Sainz), “Cantate pour deux coeurs”, “Hommage à Pelé”, “One Together” and “Contact Man” (Janko Nilovic), “La valsa mexicana” (L. Delacour & Guy Boyer), “Reflets de Russie” (Daniel J. White), “Los chagras de Cotopaxi” (M. Ordonez), and “Nagpur” (Braen = Alessandro Alessandroni). One track features an explanation of the Ducros Spicephony concept. Really a great item with a beautiful cover, and very very rare ! Vinyl in perfect shape !
