Description
Rarely seen 60’s Lebanese album on Philips, pressed in Holland. Featuring the star singers of the time Wadi Safi, Nasri Shamsiddin, Samira Tewfic, as well as some lesser known : Wadad, Maha Jabiry, Najah Slam, Rinda or Watfa. Most of the Tracks are arranged by the Rahbani Brothers, Fairuz’ husband and brothers in law : Elias Rahbani, Assi and Mansour. It really captures the magic of Lebanon pre war era, notably on Najah Salam’s “Salaams With a Homing Pigeon”.
