An album arranged by Peter Herbolzheimer, also called Time Travellers / Hymns of the Universe. Lots of great musicians on this : Herb Geller, Art Farmer, Dieter Reith, Philippe Catherine, Gunter Lenz, Kenny Clare and Sabu Martinez & co. The project was a reinterpretation of classical music standards such as “Galactic Swan” by Tchaikovski, “Prelude n°20” by Chopin, “Ave Maria” by Schubert, etc… This is not pure jazz but it’s damn funky.
