Of course you know the fantastic work John Mayer and Joe Harriott did in the late 60’s to mix western jazz and Indian classical music. This two record set includes the marvellous psych jazz “Acka Raga”, but also “Partita”, “Multani”, “Gana”, “Subject”, “Raga Piloo”, “Song Before Sunrise”, “Puri Variations” and “Mishra Blues”. Superb, cult music recorded in the late 60’s !
