Description
An overall solid French funk & boogie album from Jacques Denjean and members of the cult group CCPP, here Marc Chantereau, Slim Pezin and Christian Padovan. At least three killer funk tracks here : “You’re All I Ever Dreamed of”, “Love to Dance This One With You” and “Crystal World”, (the last one was lifted by R.D. Burman’s for “Hum kisise kum naheen”). There is also a couple of pleasant groovy tunes called “You’ve Got the Love I Need so Bad” and “Heavy Eyes”, plus a cover of a Barry White’s classic. Ah, and there are dope breaks on “Pain Sweet Pain”, too, I forgot to mention. Their first LP, surely their best !
