Lovely soul pop EP from 68, the golden era for French pop. “Don’t Know Why” is a great blue-eyed soul tune performed by the jazz singer Nicole Croisille (who also sung on “Les jeunes loups” by Jack Arel). Nice groove and breaks on this track. You also have a killer groovy tune called “Thème d’Olivier”, with female scat vocals and organ. Very funky !
