Description
“Strange Color” is a great chase jazz with el piano and wah wah. Dope loops on the intro (a real François de Roubaix feel, you know what I mean). “Bastringue”, “In Most in Land”, “Smiling Fish” and “Badoudap Girl” are cool pop tunes with female lalala scat vocals. “Convey Idea” is a smooth tune with flute. The highlight here is the somptuous “Lift and Bright”, uptempo jazz with electric piano and mute trumpet, plus female scat ! Sounds like the good side of Janko Nilovic or Mark Duval on Chappell.
