Description

Another Spanish gem, coming from the sunny islands of Baleares. A light psychedelic and folk interpretation of the Mediterranean landscape. Simply beautiful ! Notice the use of the synthesizer, which suits perfectly this kind of folk music with Graves’ poetry. Lots of good tracks here, really, but check “Deia”, a kind of outsider disco groove tune with Fender Rhodes, sooo amazing, or “Azul Mediterraneo”, an eerie / floating / hippie tune. Featuring Farran’s old classmate Tete Montoliu on keyboards. Cover art by cult painter Mati Klarwein. Sleeve shows light signs of a removed sticker, and a little writing. Only 500 copies pressed !
