Got the chance to put the hands on a few albums by the Bandaly Family, from Tripoli, Lebanon. They became cult because of a TV appearance where they sang a groovy tune called “Do You Love Me”, but the track was never released on a record. The sound here on this LP is a bit strange, kind of synth oriental pop with some funky, disco or electro parts. My favourite here being the dark slowbeat “Tebka talfenle bel layl” sung by Yolla. Still sealed, gatefold, rare.
